Book on Viator Confirmed right away, but you pay full price.$70This adults-only walking tour lasts about two hours through the French Quarter of New Orleans. The group stays small to allow for a more personal experience, and the guide adjusts the tour based on the group. All guides have direct knowledge as practitioners or initiates in local witchcraft, vampire, or Voodoo communities. The tour covers uncensored, detailed, and graphic stories about ghosts, vampires, and Voodoo, including Queen Marie Laveau and Voodoo practices, real vampires and casket girls, pirate Jean Lafitte, witchcraft and magick, prostitution history, and violent events at the Lalaurie Mansion. Guests will see photos of real ghosts taken by previous tour participants that are not available elsewhere. The route stays outdoors and includes stops at Hands of Fate, the original site of the first Church of Witchcraft, various Voodoo shops, Muriel's Restaurant, Jackson Square, Pirates Alley, the Old Ursuline Convent Museum, several haunted hotels, and the Lalaurie Mansion. There is a bar break where guests may purchase drinks, but alcohol is not included in the tour price. The tour operates rain or shine. It is not suitable for children, the easily offended, or the prudish.
