This is a two-hour paddlewheel boat cruise on the Mississippi River in New Orleans featuring live jazz music by the Steamboat Stompers. Guests board at 11:00am or 2:00pm and the boat departs promptly at 11:30am or 2:30pm. The cruise takes place on the Steamboat Natchez; however, when the Natchez is not in service (December 12, 2025 through February 2026), its sister ship, the Riverboat City of New Orleans, operates instead. Passengers can enjoy views of the New Orleans skyline from four decks, including an open-air top deck and indoor climate-controlled areas. The cruise passes the Chalmette Battlefield, site of the Battle of New Orleans where Jean Lafitte and Andrew Jackson defended the city. Onboard restrooms are available.
