Overview

This full-day bus tour lasts about nine hours and departs from Toronto at 8:30 AM from 55 York Street. Travelers ride a modern, climate-controlled coach through the Niagara Peninsula to reach Niagara Falls early, allowing them to board the Hornblower Niagara Cruises boat without waiting. The included boat trip takes passengers close to the base of the Falls, with rain jackets provided. If the boat cruise is not operating, it is replaced by the Journey Behind the Falls attraction. After the boat ride, there is about two hours of free time to explore the Falls area, including Clifton Hill, where visitors can take photos, shop for souvenirs, ride the Skywheel, or enjoy arcade games. Lunch is included at the Sheraton Fallsview restaurant, offering views overlooking the Falls. Following lunch, the coach continues along the Niagara Parkway with views of several landmarks such as the Niagara Whirlpool, Floral Clock, Butterfly Conservatory, Queenston Heights Park, Laura Secord homestead, and Fort George. There is a brief stop at the Niagara Whirlpool to see the swirling rapids formed by the Niagara River. The tour then visits Maple Leaf Place for a complimentary maple syrup tasting, which explains the production process and samples different syrup grades. The final stop is a one-hour free period in Niagara-on-the-Lake, a town known for its 19th-century architecture, heritage buildings, and boutique shops. Visitors can stroll through the streets, visit art galleries, or explore local wineries. The return coach trip to Toronto takes about two hours. Gratuities are not included in the tour price.
