Overview

This full-day bus tour from Toronto lasts about nine hours and includes licensed guides and air-conditioned transport. The tour features an optional Journey Behind the Falls experience, where visitors descend 125 feet by elevator into tunnels built 130 years ago behind Horseshoe Falls. Observation decks here allow views from behind the waterfall. Guests can also choose to join the Niagara City Cruise by Hornblower (formerly Maid of the Mist), a 20-minute boat ride to the base of the falls. Along the route, the tour stops for sightseeing at the Floral Clock, Niagara Parkway, and nearby hydroelectric power stations. Visitors will have free time to explore Clifton Hill for about two hours, where dining and other activities are available. The tour includes a stop at Maple Leaf Place on the Canadian side of Niagara Falls for a guided tasting of Ontario maple syrup. Additional stops include photo opportunities at Horseshoe Falls, the Whirlpool Aero Car (ride not included), Queenston Heights Park with its 450-million-year-old limestone gorge, and the Floral Clock with over 15,000 flowers. The tour also offers a 30-minute visit to the Skylon Tower, a 236-meter tall observation tower overlooking the falls. Complimentary chocolates and maple syrup samples are included. Pickup from downtown Toronto is available. The boat cruise is seasonal and replaced by alternate activities in winter months.
