Nido de los Aguiluchos is a mountain destination near Monterrey, Mexico, known for its climbing and hiking routes. This guided hiking and climbing tour lasts about seven hours. Participants are equipped with a harness, helmet, climbing gear, and rappel equipment before the hike begins. The group hikes for about 90 minutes to reach the first viewpoint. Along the way, there is a short scrambling section before attaching to safety cables to start climbing the rock face. Halfway up, the group pauses for water, snacks, and photos. After reaching the summit, the return involves three rappels, each about 100 feet high, descending back to the vehicles. The tour ends at the drop-off point. Included are all fees and taxes, air conditioning while in the vehicle, professional guides, and climbing equipment. Video services are not included. This activity is not recommended for people afraid of heights or for children under 12 years old.
