This small-group day trip in Northern Vietnam lasts about nine hours and covers Ninh Binh’s key sites. The tour starts with hotel pickup by a luxury minivan, including bottled water. The first stop is Bich Dong Pagoda, where you explore three tiers of pagodas built into a limestone mountain, surrounded by lotus ponds and countryside views. Next, the group visits Hoa Lu Ancient Capital to see the King Dinh and King Le Temples dating from the 17th century, followed by lunch at a local restaurant serving Vietnamese dishes. After lunch, the tour continues to the Trang An Landscape Complex. Here, you take a two-and-a-half-hour boat ride on a traditional sampan through a series of caves such as Lam, Vạng, Đại, and Thánh Trượt, passing temples like Cao Sơn, Suối Tiên, and Vũ Lâm. Finally, the tour heads to Mua Cave, where you hike up 500 stone steps to a viewpoint overlooking Tam Coc’s rice fields, rivers, and limestone peaks. The sunset view is included before returning to the hotel to end the day. An English-speaking guide leads the tour throughout.
