Overview
The tour begins with a meeting at Place Québec in Bayeux where travelers board an air-conditioned vehicle with an English-speaking driver/guide. The full-day trip lasts about eight hours and covers major D-Day landmarks in Normandy. Stops include the Utah Beach landing area, where participants spend around 90 minutes exploring the site. Next, the group visits Sainte-Mère-Eglise, the village central to the 82nd Airborne U.S. forces’ drop zone, with a 90-minute stop to learn about its role in the invasion. Following this is a visit to Pointe du Hoc, where visitors walk on the cliffs scaled by U.S. Rangers; this stop lasts about one hour. Afterward, there is one hour of free time for lunch near Pointe du Hoc. The tour continues with a one-hour visit to Omaha Beach landing areas, followed by a one-hour stop at the Normandy American Cemetery in Bayeux. The day concludes with a return to Place Québec in Bayeux for drop-off. Transport is provided in a vehicle with a maximum of 19 participants, and the guide speaks English. Entrance fees to sites, meals, drinks, gratuities, and personal expenses are not included. Note that starting January 2, 2026, Pointe du Hoc will be closed for renovations and replaced by a visit to La Cambe German War Cemetery.
