Overview

This 6 to 7-hour tour on Oahu begins with hotel pickup from Waikiki and travel to Pearl Harbor in Honolulu. At the Pearl Harbor Visitor Center, visitors spend about two hours exploring the “Road to War” and “Attack” exhibit galleries, which display photographs and artifacts from the 1941 attack on Pearl Harbor. A short film explains the significance of that day. The tour then includes a boat ride to the USS Arizona Memorial, which marks the final resting place of 1,177 crew members who died during the attack. Afterward, the tour continues with a two-hour visit to the battleship USS Missouri, also known as the "Mighty Mo." This ship served in World War II, the Korean War, and the Gulf War over a 51-year career. It was launched in 1944 and was the location where Japan signed the official surrender documents ending World War II. Visitors can learn about life aboard the battleship during this stop. Additional stops on the tour include viewing the Punchbowl Crater, an extinct volcanic tuff cone and memorial for US Armed Forces personnel, and passing by the only royal palace on US soil, which was the residence of the Hawaiian monarchy until 1893. The tour also visits a distinctive building with an open-air crown and volcano-shaped chambers representing the islands’ formation, as well as a well-known bronze statue honoring the monarch who unified the Hawaiian Islands. The tour includes admission to the USS Missouri, the boat ticket to the USS Arizona Memorial, and an in-person briefing at the Pearl Harbor Visitor Center. Small bags are allowed only if they measure 1.5 by 2.25 by 5.5 inches or smaller. No bags are permitted at Pearl Harbor itself. Meals and gratuities are not included. Pickup from Ko Olina is not available unless specifically stated in the booking. Some vehicles may not accommodate wheelchairs or scooters, so arrangements must be made after booking. The tour is non-refundable if the boat ride is canceled due to safety or mechanical issues.
