Overview

This 10-hour tour begins early with a 45-minute stop at Sandy Beach on Oahu’s Windward coast to watch the sunrise and view Halona Blowhole. After sunrise, the tour circles the island in an air-conditioned minivan with live commentary from a photographer guide. The first stop is Makapu'u Beach for 20 minutes to photograph the high cliffs overlooking the bay and to look for turtles and whales. Next, there is a 20-minute stop at a viewpoint in the Ko'olau Mountains to photograph the cliffs. The tour then takes a 45-minute break at Kalapawai Historic Market, where guests can enjoy coffee and breakfast burritos. Afterward, there is a 15-minute stop at Leonard's for a Malasada treat. The tour continues with a 20-minute visit to Byodo-in Temple, a Buddhist temple built to honor the first Japanese immigrants to Hawaii. The group then spends 20 minutes at Kualoa Regional Park to view Chinaman's Hat island and take photos. A 15-minute stop at Kahuku Farms on the North Shore allows guests to sample local fruits such as pineapple, mango, coconut, and banana lupia. Kawela Bay is next for 20 minutes, featuring the largest Banyan tree on Oahu where visitors can climb the vines. At Banzai Pipeline, the tour pauses for 20 minutes to watch surfers tackle challenging waves. The route then passes Shark's Cove by vehicle without stopping. The tour stops for one hour in historic Haleiwa, where guests can explore art shops, food trucks, and surf shops. The final stop is Haleiwa Beach Park for 20 minutes to look for turtles in a less crowded area. The tour includes hotel pickup and drop-off, entrance fees, live commentary, and transportation in an air-conditioned minivan. Lunch and gratuities are not included. Guests are advised to wear tropical clothing.
