Overview

This eight-hour tour travels along Oahu’s North Shore with included rental gear for snorkeling, kayaking, biking, or stand-up paddleboarding. The tour begins with a drive along Oahu’s Windward Coast, passing the Koolau Mountains and coastline. There is a 15-minute stop at Tropical Farms for coffee and macadamia nut tastings. Next, the tour spends about two hours on the North Shore where participants can choose to swim at Waimea Bay during summer months, snorkel at Shark's Cove marine sanctuary, bike along the tree tunnel bike path, or visit Waimea Valley’s Polynesian plant collection and swim at the waterfall if conditions allow. The itinerary includes a visit to Sunset Beach Park and a 20-minute stop at Banzai Pipeline during surf season in winter. The tour continues with a 90-minute visit to Waimea Botanical Gardens, which has the largest collection of Polynesian plants, with an optional waterfall swim if conditions permit. There is up to 1.5 hours in historic Haleiwa Town for lunch, shopping, and optional kayaking or stand-up paddleboarding on the Anahulu River and Haleiwa Bay, where there is a chance to see Hawaiian green sea turtles. The tour ends with a drive-by of the Dole Pineapple Plantation.
