Overview

This is a guided walking and boat tour of Old Dubai lasting between two and four hours. The tour begins at Souk Al Seef, a lively waterfront area along Dubai Creek where visitors can shop and see a mix of old and new Dubai. The guide then leads to the Al Fahidi Historical Neighbourhood, where traditional wind-tower buildings and narrow lanes reflect Dubai’s early architecture and culture. Here, guests visit the Coins Museum, which displays over 470 rare coins illustrating the region’s monetary past. Next, the group walks to the Grand Bur Dubai Masjid, notable for its 70-meter minaret and detailed stained glass windows. The tour also includes a visit to the Dubai Museum inside Al Fahidi Fort, featuring exhibits about life before oil was discovered, with artifacts dating back to 3000 BC. Afterward, the tour explores the Old Souk in Bur Dubai, known for textiles, perfumes, spices, and traditional garments. The boat portion includes a short ride on a traditional wooden abra across Dubai Creek, connecting Bur Dubai and Deira. After crossing, there is time to visit the Dubai Spice Souk, a market with herbs, spices, nuts, and perfumes, followed by a visit to the Gold Souk, where over 350 shops sell gold, diamonds, and precious stones. Bottled water is included, along with tasting camel milk chocolate. A personal guide provides explanations throughout. Drop-off service is not included, and snacks beyond the tasting are not provided.
