Overview

Enjoy an original chopstick-making experience near Yasaka Shrine in Gion, Kyoto. After learning about the history and origins of chopsticks, and the chopstick culture of various countries such as Japan, China, and Korea, you can choose your favorite from 10 unique types of wood and make your own chopsticks. Our staff will carefully support each person, so even first-timers can feel at ease. The spacious, photogenic atmosphere with natural light streaming in from two large windows is also a highlight. DSLR camera photography during the experience and laser engraving of names and illustrations can be added as paid options.
