Overview

Want to escape the crowds and embrace a hidden gem? This day trip takes you to unlock three treasure spots on the Japan Sea side! Starting from Osaka, first dive into Ine Bay, the "Venice of the Sea," stroll through 230 century-old funaya (boathouses), and savor freshly caught seafood donburi at "Funaya Biyori" while watching fishing boats sway. Then, ascend to the Amanohashidate View Land observation deck, and use the "matanozoki" (looking through your legs) perspective to overlook the 3.6-kilometer sandbar dragon lying across the azure sea. Next, venture into Miyama's Thatched Village, walk on stone paths, touch 300-year-old thatched roofs, and witness the interplay of light and shadow at the indigo dyeing workshop. The entire journey is by air-conditioned bus, with an experienced driver-guide revealing niche ways to play, allowing you to take in mountain and sea wonders and Edo-period charm in one day. Note: The Amanohashidate View Land cable car is undergoing maintenance. During this period, please take the cable car to Kasamatsu Park.
