Train like a sumo wrestler at Miyagino Stable’s former Osaka camp, once used by Yokozuna Hakuho and other professional wrestlers. This hands-on experience is suitable for complete beginners and easily accessible from Namba. Learn sumo’s history, traditions, and basic rules before practicing shiko, koshiwari, suriashi, and teppo. Your instructor will guide you step by step. These traditional exercises develop the strength, balance, and technique required in sumo. Then wear a traditional mawashi and put your skills into action in a friendly match. Experience the challenge of Japan’s national sport and finish with commemorative photos inside this historic training facility.
