Overview

This paragliding tandem flight in Chamonix lasts about 75 minutes and offers a 15 to 30-minute glide in front of Mont-Blanc, the highest mountain in Europe. The flight takes place with a certified French instructor who manages the equipment and flight safety. During the flight, participants can enjoy views of the Alps and their peaks, and the pilot may allow you to try controlling the paraglider. Included are a helmet, insurance coverage, and a driver/guide to assist with logistics. Participants must buy their cable car ticket separately at the meeting point, which is in front of the cable car ticket office. The total activity time is about one hour, including preparation and transit. Weight limits apply, and all pilots speak English and French, with some also speaking Spanish. Flights depend on weather conditions; if unsafe, the flight is refunded.

Itinerary

You are going to do a paragliding tandem flight with one of our certified instructors. This flight takes off from Plan Praz and will last 15 to 25 minutes, depending of the wind conditions. If the flight from Plan Praz is not available (weather or closure of the cable car), you will have choice to fly from Plan de l'Aiguille (+20 euros), it's a super nice flight, or to cancel your booking. ! From September 18th to October 20th , the Plan Praz paragliding takeoff place is closed (due to cable car maintenance), therefore we will fly from the Plan de l'Aiguille. The meeting point in this case will be at the bottom of the Aiguille du midi cable car. Don't hesitate to contact us for more information !

The meeting location is in front of the cable car ticket office; there is no office or desk there, so guests should wait at that spot until the pilots arrive.
Participants must be at least 4 years old to take part.
Passengers are requested not to bring large bags on the flight; only very small bags are permitted.
Guests must provide their weight in kilograms, with a maximum allowed weight of 100 kg.
During summer, those weighing less than 40 kg should request an early flight time at either 8 am or 9 am.
In summer, individuals weighing between 40 and 60 kg should book their flight no later than 11 am.
For summer flights, those over 60 kg may fly at any time throughout the day.
The entire activity lasts approximately 1 hour.
If weather conditions such as wind or rain prevent a safe flight, a refund will be issued.
Participants should arrive at the meeting point 10 minutes early and purchase a one-way cable car ticket costing about 18 euros.
There is no need to write or call to inform that the participant has arrived. Contact is required only if the participant will be late.
Pilots may arrive up to 10 minutes late; participants should remain patient as the pilots will come to find them.
Guests should keep their phone on them since the operator may call if they cannot locate the participant.
All pilots speak English and French, and some also speak Spanish.
The maximum weight allowed for participants is 100 kg.
