The parasailing activity at Hilton Head Island lasts about one hour and 30 minutes. Participants take off and land from the flight deck of a 35-foot Ocean Pro parasail boat powered by a diesel Volvo Penta engine. The boat can hold up to 12 passengers for the entire duration. Flights are available for two or three people at a time, depending on weather conditions. Each flight lasts between eight and ten minutes. During the flight, participants see views of Daufuskie Island, Calibogue Sound, Harbour Town Lighthouse, Harbour Town Yacht Basin, and South Beach Marina. Flyers may choose to stay dry or get wet during landing. All necessary equipment is provided. Bottlenose dolphins are often spotted in the waters around Hilton Head Island.
