This 2-hour small-group baking class takes place inside an award-winning French bakery in Le Marais, 4th Arrondissement, Paris. The experience begins with a traditional French breakfast served upon arrival. Participants then tour the bakery’s production area, where local baguettes and pastries are made from scratch before sunrise. Under hands-on instruction, adults and children shape baguettes and rustic breads and roll their own croissants. Each participant receives the baguette they have made to take home. Groups are limited to a maximum of nine people to keep the setting intimate. Hotel pickup and drop-off are not included. Children must be accompanied by an adult.
Bakery Breakfast and Workshop
Start with a warm French breakfast in the café, featuring a fresh croissant and a choice of hot chocolate, coffee, or a soft drink. Then, enter the bakery for a behind-the-scenes tour to meet the artisans and learn the process of making traditional French breads and pastries. Join a hands-on workshop to shape baguettes and country breads, roll a croissant, and bake the items to take home while still warm. Also, prepare classic Financiers from scratch, taste some, and take the remainder home if not consumed during the session. This experience is suitable for all ages and is conducted in small groups combining learning, tasting, and baking.
