This three-hour workshop in Paris lets you create a personalized souvenir hat guided by a hatmaker who has worked with Lady Gaga and other celebrities. The instructor, founder of MiniMeParis and experienced in luxury fashion houses like Chanel, Hermès, and Balmain, leads you through the craft of hatmaking. You'll work with either merino wool felt or straw materials and can decorate your hat using accessories valued at 10 euros, all included in the session. During the workshop, bottled water, tea, and coffee are provided. The focus is on traditional French craftsmanship techniques, with friendly guidance from the expert and her team. Children may participate but must be accompanied by an adult.

MiniMeParis Hat-Making Workshop
Begin by selecting the material for the hat from options including standard merino wool felt, premium rabbit felt, hand-dyed felts, natural straw, and panamas, with over 30 colors available. Next, choose the wooden block shape for stretching and molding the felt: Fedora, Trilby, Canotier, or Capeline. Then, learn and practice traditional hat-making techniques using water, steam, mallets, and pins. The hat will then be "baked" in an oven. Finally, decorate the hat with more than 1,000 accessories such as scarfs, ribbons, buttons, charms, chains, linings, leather-painted swatches, flowers, brooches, pins, and embroidery, all under the guidance of experienced hatmakers.
