Overview

Guests start by boarding a boat for a dinner cruise on the Seine River in Paris. The cruise lasts about 1 to 2 hours and includes a three-course meal with starters, main course, and dessert, plus a glass of champagne and coffee or tea. Each table is decorated with flower petals, and all seats are located next to the bay windows for views along the river. During the cruise, travelers pass several Paris landmarks such as the Musée d'Orsay, housed in a former railway station on the Left Bank; the Louvre Museum on the Right Bank with its long, historic façade; and the Place de la Concorde with its fountains and the Luxor Obelisk. The boat continues past the Grand Palais with its glass dome, then approaches the Eiffel Tower, which is visible along with the Pont d'Iéna bridge that spans the river near it. The route also includes sights like the smaller Statue of Liberty on the Île aux Cygnes, the Trocadéro terraces opposite the Eiffel Tower, the medieval Conciergerie on the Île de la Cité, and the restored Notre-Dame Cathedral. The cruise ends after this scenic river passage. Guests receive a tablet of organic chocolate from "Le Chocolat des Français" as part of the dining experience. Wines and mineral water are available for purchase but not included in the price.

2

Louvre Museum

Passing the Right Bank, the cruise offers views of the Louvre Museum. This vast former royal palace features an ornate façade showing medieval and classical architecture.

3

Place de la Concorde

The boat moves past Place de la Concorde, a large historic square at the eastern end of the Champs-Élysées. The view includes fountains, classical buildings, and the 3,300-year-old Luxor Obelisk at its center.

4

Grand Palais

The cruise continues past the Grand Palais, noted for its large glass and steel dome. This Beaux-Arts building was constructed for the 1900 Exposition Universelle and stands between the Champs-Élysées and the riverbank.

5

Eiffel Tower

The boat passes the Eiffel Tower, the iron structure completed in 1889 for the World’s Fair. It rises above the city as a central symbol of Paris.

6

Pont d'Iena

Just before the Eiffel Tower, the boat passes under the Pont d’Iéna, a bridge built in 1807 by Napoleon Bonaparte to mark his victory at the Battle of Jena, linking the Champ de Mars and the Trocadéro Gardens.

7

Statue de la Liberte

Along the Seine, travelers see the Statue of Liberty replica on the Île aux Cygnes, representing the friendship between France and the United States.

8

Le Trocadero et son esplanade

The boat passes the Trocadéro terraces on the Right Bank opposite the Eiffel Tower. The Palais de Chaillot with its wings and columns frames views of the tower.

9

Conciergerie

The cruise moves past the Île de la Cité where the medieval Conciergerie is visible with its pointed towers and stone façade rising from the riverbank.
