Overview

The tour begins with hotel pickup in Waikiki and transportation to the Pearl Harbor Visitor Center in Honolulu. Upon arrival, guests have about an hour to explore the museums and exhibits at the Visitor Center. Then, after watching a documentary featuring footage of the attack on Pearl Harbor and the events leading up to it, participants board a boat to the USS Arizona Memorial. The boat ride and visit at the memorial last approximately two hours, providing time to learn about the survivors’ stories and the ship’s history. Following the USS Arizona Memorial, the tour continues with a two-hour visit aboard the USS Missouri Battleship on Ford Island. Guests can walk the decks and explore the interiors of this historic battleship, which was the site of Japan’s surrender that ended World War II. On the return drive to Waikiki, the route passes by the National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific, also known as Punchbowl Cemetery, where guests can view the grounds and the city of Honolulu from this elevated location. Hotel drop-off concludes the roughly six-hour tour. The tour is conducted in a small group format and includes hotel pickup and drop-off in Waikiki, entrance tickets to the USS Missouri Battleship, and admission to the Pearl Harbor Visitor Center. Tickets to the USS Arizona Memorial depend on availability and are not guaranteed. Lunch and pickups from hotels outside Waikiki or from cruise ship piers are not included.
