Overview

This half-day bus tour lasts about five and a half hours and includes round-trip hotel pickup in Waikīkī. The tour begins at the Pearl Harbor Historic Sites Visitor Center, where guests spend around an hour exploring museums and exhibits related to the events of December 7, 1941. Visitors watch a documentary film detailing the attack on Pearl Harbor before boarding a Navy shuttle boat to reach the USS Arizona Memorial, weather and National Park Service availability permitting. The boat ride and visit to the memorial, which honors the 1,102 sailors and Marines who died on the USS Arizona, take about three hours in total. After returning to the mainland, the tour continues with a narrated drive through Honolulu. The route includes stops at landmarks such as the King Kamehameha Statue for a photo opportunity, a view of ʻIolani Palace - the only royal palace on U.S. soil - plus drive-bys past Kawaiahaʻo Church, the State Capitol, and Aloha Tower. The tour includes National Park fees, a driver/guide, tickets to the USS Arizona Memorial, and local taxes. Gratuities are not included.
