Overview

The Perth Bell Tower is located on the banks of the Swan River at Barrack Square. This 45-minute tour includes an interactive chiming experience where visitors can ring the historic royal bells, which are over 300 years old and were originally housed in Saint Martin in the Fields church in London. The tour is led by an experienced guide who explains the history of the Bell Tower and the bells. Entry grants access to all five public levels of the Tower. On Level 5, visitors can see the 6,500-kilogram ANZAC Bell and watch it ring at noon. Level 6 features an Observation Deck with views of the Swan River, Perth city, and the Darling Range. This level also contains a 26-bell Carillon that plays various tunes and national anthems when a gold coin is inserted. Transportation to and from the Bell Tower is not included.
