Itinerary Reference Time (subject to the actual arrangements of the driver/guide on the day) Depart from Perth at 8 AM, heading to York, Western Australia's first inland town, which retains the charm of its cultural heritage as the first inland settlement. Upon arrival in the Wave Rock region, first admire Hippo's Yawn. Here, we can climb through the "throat" of this hippo, capturing interesting photos. Enjoy a Western-style light lunch at the Wave Rock Wildflower Cafe at noon. In the afternoon, admire Wave Rock, one of the world's eighth natural wonders. Wave Rock was formed approximately 2.5 billion years ago. Through the forces of nature, its surface was carved into a concave shape. Coupled with the erosion from accumulated wind and rain over time, and the drastic temperature differences between day and night, it gradually eroded into the shape of a wave. Expected return to Perth before 7:00 PM.
