This half-day boat tour lasts about five hours and starts and ends on Koh Phi Phi Don, near the Tonsai pier. The tour visits several spots around the Phi Phi Islands where you can swim and snorkel in clear water. Stops include Monkey Bay, known for its long-tailed macaques and colorful fish; Viking Cave, where swiftlet birds’ nests are harvested; Pileh Lagoon on Ko Phi Phi Leh with shallow, clear water ideal for snorkeling; Maya Bay, famous for its sandy beach and limestone cliffs, though it may be closed due to government conservation efforts; and Loh Samah Bay, another snorkeling spot with abundant marine life. The order and duration of stops may vary slightly. You will board a long-tail boat operated by a basic English-speaking driver. Snorkeling equipment including a mask and snorkel is provided, along with a bottle of drinking water. Food and soft drinks are not included but you may bring your own snacks. There is no guide onboard, only the boat driver. The National Park fee of 400 Thai baht per person must be paid in cash on the day of the tour. Participants need to meet in front of the McDonalds near the Tonsai pier on Koh Phi Phi Don. This tour does not operate from Ao Nang (Krabi) or Phuket, so if arriving from those locations you must arrange your own transport to Koh Phi Phi and stay on the island for at least one night due to ferry schedules. Groups are limited to a maximum of 10 people. The tour runs rain or shine unless the boat driver cancels for safety reasons, in which case a full refund is given.
Monkey Bay
Meet at the Tonsai pier in front of McDonalds on Koh Phi Phi Don, then board the boat. The first stop is Monkey Bay, a small bay surrounded by jungle where snorkeling is good and you can see colorful fish. Long-tailed macaques often come down to the rocks near the boats. The stop lasts about one hour, including travel time. The sequence of stops may change during the tour. National Park fee is not included and must be paid in cash on the day of the tour (400 THB per person).

Viking Cave
The boat stops in front of Viking Cave on Koh Phi Phi Leh for about one hour. The cave is known for prehistoric drawings resembling Viking ships, believed to have been made by sea gypsies or pirates. Swiftlet birds live inside on ledges and their nests are harvested for use in birds nest soup, a local product. The stop includes travel time and the order may vary.

Ko Phi Phi Le
Pileh Lagoon, also called Phileh Bay, is visited for about one hour. This lagoon is enclosed by tall rocks and has very clear, shallow water with a white sandy bottom, making it suitable for snorkeling. Timing and order of stops may differ.

Maya Bay
Maya Bay is the next stop, known for its sandy beach, jungle, and steep limestone cliffs. It was the filming location for the 2000 movie 'The Beach.' The stop lasts about one hour but the bay may be closed for environmental recovery, generally from August 1 to September 30 each year. If closed, the boat will pass by for photo opportunities and spend more time at other snorkeling spots instead.

Loh Samah Bay
The final stop is Loh Samah Bay on the southern side of Koh Phi Phi Leh, opposite Maya Bay. This bay offers shallow waters for snorkeling and a chance to see marine life. The time spent here is about one hour. Stop order and timing may change.
