Overview

The most memorable part of this full-day tour is the extensive exploration of Paradise Cave, where visitors travel 1.6 kilometers by electric vehicle before walking through vast chambers with ceilings up to 60 meters high and wooden staircases leading past notable stalactites and stalagmites. This 3-hour visit highlights formations such as the Rong House, Cham Towers, and Quan Am Buddha. The tour begins with a hotel pick-up in Dong Hoi city or Dong Hoi train station between 7:15 and 7:45 AM, followed by an additional pick-up in Phong Nha Village around 8:30 AM. After the initial transfers, guests board an electric vehicle to Paradise Cave. After exploring the cave’s large chambers and rock formations, the group returns to a local restaurant within Phong Nha-Ke Bang National Park for lunch. In the afternoon, the tour continues to Phong Nha Cave. Participants take a 30-minute dragon boat ride on the Son River, passing riverside villages and limestone mountains before entering the cave. A 300-meter walk inside the cave reveals illuminated stalactites, underground lakes, and rock formations in sections called Bi Ky, Co Tien, and Cung Dinh. The guide explains the history of ancient Cham inscriptions and the treasure of King Ham Nghi. The day ends with a drop-off at hotels in Phong Nha town around 4:45 PM and then in Dong Hoi city at approximately 5:45 PM. The tour lasts about 10 hours and includes an English-speaking guide, hotel transfers, bottled water, a buggy ride through the jungle, entrance tickets to both caves, a travel hat, and lunch. A far pick-up surcharge applies if guests stay outside the designated pick-up area, and additional fees apply during Tet holidays.
