This unique Loire Valley wine experience takes place at a family-run château located about 10 minutes from Chinon. The tour begins with a walk through the château's Cabernet Franc and Chenin blanc vineyards, which are classified as AOC Chinon. Next, participants visit the estate's cellar before moving to a historic tasting room for a wine tasting session. After the tasting, guests are escorted to a private picnic area where lunch is served at a table set with views of the vineyards. One bottle of wine is included with the meal. During winter months, the picnic is held indoors in a vaulted room, with candles and sheepskins provided for warmth. The entire experience lasts approximately two and a half hours. Included in the tour are bottled water, wine tasting, lunch, and alcoholic beverages. While the tour and tasting may be shared with other groups, the picnic area is reserved exclusively for the booking party.
