Boarding the Sealounge catamaran is done via small tenders launched from the beach. The catamaran then cruises for approximately 40 minutes up the Gulf of Nicoya to Playa Fantasia, a secluded beach accessible only by water. The total tour duration is about 4.5 hours. At Playa Fantasia, guests have access to boogie boards, paddleboards, surfboards, hammocks, and beach loungers at no extra cost. Snorkel equipment is also available, but an ID is required to use the water gear. A light lunch prepared by a chef on the beach is included, along with snacks and alcoholic beverages served only to guests aged 18 and over. Towels are not provided, so guests must bring their own. Banana boat rides can be requested in advance but are not included in the tour price. During the green season from May 15 to December 15, the tour operates between 11 am and 3:30 pm to avoid afternoon rain and rough waters, which means there is usually no visible sunset during these months.
