This 2.5-hour motorized tour on the Big Island of Hawaii combines Polynesian cultural education with an ATV ride. Participants visit huts representing the islands of Hawaii, Tonga, Samoa, and Fiji. At each hut, there are hands-on activities related to the culture of that island. Guests may ride a single-rider ATV if they are at least 16 years old and have completed safety instructions. Those aged 3 to 15 or those who prefer not to drive their own ATV will ride in a UTV driven by the tour guide; an adult may accompany children but the guide remains the driver. The tour takes place near Holualoa, about 10 minutes from Kailua-Kona, traveling through jungle terrain. Safety goggles, helmets, and the ATV or UTV are included. Closed-toed shoes are required and long pants are recommended. Participants must arrive 30 minutes before the start time for safety instructions; late arrivals who miss these instructions must ride in the UTV with the guide. Children aged 3 to 17 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. This tour is specifically on the Big Island of Hawaii and does not include other Hawaiian islands. Guests over 70 who have not driven an ATV before are advised to ride as passengers in the UTV.
