Porto is a historic city on the Douro River known for its colorful houses and landmarks. This 2-hour Segway tour covers the main sights in Porto’s historic center, a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1996. Riders follow a local guide through key places including the Catedral do Porto, where you can see Gothic architecture and views of the Ribeira and Douro River. The route continues past São Bento Railway Station with its blue and white azulejo tiles, and the 18th-century Torre dos Clérigos church and tower in the city center. The tour also visits Igreja do Carmo, notable for its tile façade, the Centro Português de Fotografia, and Praça Gomes Teixeira featuring a fountain and lion statues. You will pass by Livraria Lello, a famous bookstore linked to the Harry Potter stories, and finish at Cais da Ribeira, the colorful riverside area with medieval streets and views of the Dom Luís I Bridge. The Segway and helmet are provided along with a safety briefing and practice session before the tour begins. Hotel pickup is not included.
