The bus travels about 110 kilometers from Thessaloniki to Pozar Thermal Baths, a journey of roughly one and a half hours. The name “Pozar” may mean “after the charcoal” or “under the fire,” referring to the village’s past location that was destroyed by fire before resettlement. The thermal waters are naturally heated underground and surface enriched with minerals and trace elements.
