Overview

This seven-hour tour includes walking and a river boat cruise to cover Prague’s main landmarks and neighborhoods. It begins at Charles Bridge, where the guide leads a small group across the city’s oldest and most iconic bridge while sharing information about its history. The walk continues through the Old Town district, visiting the Astronomical Clock, the Jewish Quarter, and the Estates Theatre, along with quieter streets and courtyards away from the crowds. The guide explains historical events and local stories throughout. After the walking tour, the group boards a river boat for a 45-minute cruise on the Vltava River and the Certovka canal, also known as Prague Venice. Onboard, each guest receives a free drink and snack while listening to an audio guide. Following the cruise, there is about a one-hour break for lunch on your own, with food recommendations provided by the guide. The afternoon features a two-hour guided walk around Prague Castle grounds and exteriors. The route includes Saint Vitus Cathedral, the Old Royal Palace, St. George Basilica, and other castle areas, with explanations of the castle’s medieval origins and its role through different historical periods up to modern democracy. The tour does not include entrance to castle interiors but covers the grounds and exterior sights. Included with the full-day package are ponchos on request, a tram ticket to the castle, the river boat cruise ticket, and admission to the Charles Bridge Museum. Lunch and entrance fees to castle interiors are not included. The day ends near the castle area.
