by Underdog Divers
This private three-hour dive takes place on Aruba’s reef and wreck site, designed specifically for first-time divers. Up to eight participants are picked up and transported to the dive location. A certified instructor with over ten years of experience guides the dive, adjusting the pace and difficulty to match each participant’s comfort level. SCUBA equipment is provided for the session. The dive does not follow a strict time limit, allowing for a personalized experience that prioritizes safety throughout. Basic swimming skills are required. Participants must wait at least eighteen hours between the dive and any flight. A medical questionnaire must be completed before the dive.
Beginner Scuba Dive and Safety Briefing
This private scuba diving session is designed for first-time divers and those without certification. It starts with a 20-minute safety briefing on land covering the dive plan, equipment use, and safety rules. Participants then practice basic exercises in shallow water to become familiar with the gear. Afterward, the dive proceeds to a maximum depth of 40 feet (12 meters), where divers may encounter coral reefs, tropical fish, turtles, or a shipwreck. Dive sites are chosen based on daily ocean conditions, with site selection coordinated between the instructor and guests depending on transportation arrangements.
