A half-hour walk through Baalbek’s old souk offers time to browse traditional shops and buy souvenirs. The route passes near the Sayyida Khawla Shrine, which houses the tomb of Sayida Khawla, daughter of Imam Hussein, and features a tree estimated to be around 1,400 years old. The day ends with a one-hour lunch at a local restaurant offering a variety of traditional dishes, including fresh meat, chicken, vegetarian options, and snacks.
