This private day tour lasts about eight hours and covers three major ancient sites near Cairo: the Giza Pyramids, Memphis, and Sakkara. The trip begins with hotel pickup in Cairo or Giza by a private air-conditioned vehicle. At the Giza Plateau, you spend about two hours exploring the pyramid complex that includes the Great Pyramid of Khufu, the Pyramid of Khafre, the Pyramid of Menkaure, and the Great Sphinx. You also see nearby cemeteries and a workers’ village built during Egypt’s Old Kingdom. After the main Giza sites, you visit the Great Pyramid of Khufu’s valley temple area, which is partly buried beneath the village of Nazlet el-Samman. Then you move on to the Khafre pyramid complex, where the valley temple, the Sphinx temple, causeway, mortuary temple, and king’s pyramid are located.
