Overview

This private day tour departs from Delhi with a hotel pickup at 6:30 AM from Delhi, Gurgaon, or Noida. Participants are transferred to Hazrat Nizamuddin Railway Station to board the superfast Gatimaan Express train to Agra. Breakfast is served on board during the journey. Upon arrival at Agra Railway Station, a guide and private air-conditioned vehicle will be ready to begin sightseeing. The first stop is the Taj Mahal, where visitors spend three hours exploring this 17th-century marble mausoleum built by Emperor Shah Jahan in memory of his wife Mumtaz Mahal. After the Taj Mahal visit, the group proceeds to a 5-star hotel for a one-hour buffet lunch featuring Mughlai and international dishes. Following lunch, the tour continues with a 90-minute visit to Agra Fort, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and former residence of the Mughal emperors. Next is a one-hour visit to Itmad-ud-Daula, also known as the 'Baby Taj,' a marble tomb commissioned by Empress Nur Jahan for her father. After completing the sightseeing, participants are transferred to Agra Cantonment Railway Station to board the return train to Delhi. Upon arrival at Hazrat Nizamuddin Railway Station, a representative will provide transfer back to the original hotel or airport. Participants are picked up from their hotel at 6:30 AM in Delhi, Gurgaon, or Noida and transferred to Hazrat Nizamuddin Railway Station. They board the Gatimaan Express superfast train to Agra, where breakfast is served onboard.
