This boat tour starts at Piazza Marina Grande, just five minutes from the ferry landing, and circles the island of Procida over about two hours and 15 minutes. The skipper navigates around the island’s coastline, pointing out landmarks such as Palazzo D’Avalos, a former sea-facing prison, the colorful fishermen’s houses of Corricella port, the nature reserve on Vivara Island, and Postman Beach in Pozzovecchio bay, known for its film connection. During the tour, the boat stops twice in protected coves on the leeward side to allow swimming and snorkeling. Masks and snorkels are available, and fins can be requested at no extra cost. An outdoor freshwater shower and a cabin are available onboard for changing. A 5K underwater camera records photos and videos of guests’ moments in the water, which are provided at the end of the tour. Bottled water is supplied, and a fish identification chart helps identify species seen during snorkeling.
