Overview

This four-hour kayak tour in Providenciales begins at the operator’s base in Leeward Marina. Optional transport from the Grace Bay area is available upon request. Participants paddle through the mangrove channels that cover about one third of the islands, which serve as nursery grounds for marine life including juvenile turtles, rays, and juvenile sharks. The guide provides information about the local ecology, including coastal birds and the iguana sanctuary. The tour includes a swim break at a nearby beach. High tide is required for safe access to the mangroves, so departure times vary daily based on tide schedules. The tour may not be available on days when tides fall outside business hours. Included are a local guide, life jackets, light snacks, bottled water, and the national park conservation fee. Beginners can participate, and children must be accompanied by an adult.
