Overview

The Puerto Vallarta Botanical Garden features Mexico’s most visited orchid collection and diverse native plants. This six-hour hiking tour includes full admission to the garden and a guided walk along the Horcones River trail. Participants follow riverside paths through a varied landscape until reaching Los Veranos Adventure Park. At Los Veranos, the tour offers several activities. Guests can swim, slide down natural rock formations, kayak, or relax in the river’s clear pools. The site also includes an animal sanctuary where rescued species such as monkeys, toucans, macaws, and iguanas live. A guided tasting of handcrafted tequila made exclusively by Los Veranos is included. A meal and tropical drink are available for purchase at the riverside restaurant but are not part of the tour price. This small-group hiking tour is led by local guides who share knowledge about the trails and wildlife. Transportation is included. The tour lasts about six hours and requires comfortable shoes and swimwear for the river activities.
