Overview

This full-day tour in Punta Cana combines a dune buggy drive through the Dominican countryside with a snorkeling catamaran cruise. The day begins with a hotel pickup and transfer to the UTVs Ranch, where participants receive health and safety instructions from a professional guide. The dune buggy portion lasts about 80 minutes and covers rough roads through forests, tropical gardens, and typical Dominican houses. The first stop is an ecological farm where guests taste locally produced coffee and chocolate and learn about their manufacture. Next, the tour continues through areas with tobacco, palm, and banana trees to the Taíno Ecological Park, where participants can swim in a freshwater cenote. The final stop on the buggy route is Macao Beach, known for its white sand and limestone cliffs, offering panoramic views of the sea and Cape Macao. After the buggy tour, participants return to their hotels for about 90 minutes to have lunch and change clothes. Then, they are transferred to Punta Cana Marina to board a two-level catamaran with a capacity for 50 people. The three-hour catamaran cruise sails first to a snorkeling site near Cabeza de Toro Beach, where guests snorkel under professional supervision among coral reefs and tropical fish. The cruise continues to a shallow natural pool near Bavaro Beach, featuring a floating bar with unlimited drinks and snacks. Guests can relax, swim, and enjoy music and dancing. The tour concludes with a toast featuring a local island drink made from indigenous roots, Dominican wine, honey, and rum before returning to the marina and then to the hotels. The full experience lasts about eight hours and includes round-trip transfers, snorkeling equipment (flippers available on request), access to river caves, beaches, and local organic products.
