Book on Viator Confirmed right away, but you pay full price.$110This 3-4 hour tour departs from Doha with pickup from the traveler’s preferred location. The group, limited to six participants, first travels to the Richard Serra sculpture titled EAST-WEST / WEST-EAST, located in the Brouq Nature Reserve along Qatar’s west coast. This installation stretches over one kilometer and consists of four steel plates, each more than fourteen meters tall. The sculpture is aligned precisely with the desert’s topography. After approximately 25 minutes at the sculpture site, the tour continues to Zekreet Beach, also known as Ras Abrouq Beach, where visitors see limestone cliffs, pillars, and sedimentary rock formations along the shoreline. The area is notable for its large mushroom-shaped limestone structures. The next stop is Zekreet Fort, a quadrangular fort dating to the late 18th or early 19th century, featuring four circular watchtowers and a unique umbrella-shaped stone hut situated on a limestone hill. Following this, the tour visits Al Shahaniya Racetrack to observe camels during their training sessions. After about 15 minutes at the racetrack, the group returns to Doha with drop-off at the original pickup point. Bottled water, tea, coffee, all fees, and taxes are included in the tour price.
