Overview

This full-day tour from La Fortuna combines ziplining and white water rafting on the Balsa River. The day starts with a zipline adventure featuring seven cables, including a climb to an 18-meter tower (54 feet) followed by a flight over a 120-meter canyon, the highest point in the park. Participants will cross a hanging bridge to the longest cable, 980 meters long, flying high above La Fortuna Waterfall with views of the city. Speeds can reach up to 70 km/h (43 mph). After the zipline, the group moves on to a two-hour white water rafting trip on Class II and III rapids. The tour ends with a typical Costa Rican lunch at Arenal Vida Campesina. The guide provides equipment such as raft, paddles, vest, and helmet. Hotel pickup and drop-off are included for selected hotels, as well as snacks, bottled water, and air-conditioned transport.
