Overview

This ticket provides a return ferry service from Corralejo, Fuerteventura, to Lobos Island operated by Barco Majorero, a family-owned company with over 35 years of experience. On the day of travel, passengers must check in at the Naviera Nortour ticket office located at the entrance to Corralejo port at least 20 minutes before departure. Return times are flexible and arranged with the crew, with scheduled options at 11:40, 14:20, and 17:00. During the summer months from July to September, additional return times at 16:00 and 18:00 may be available, subject to availability. Parking near the port can be limited, so extra time to find a space is recommended for those arriving by car. The ferry crossing takes about 20 minutes each way. Upon arrival at Lobos Island, visitors can explore independently for up to five hours, depending on the chosen return time. The island features several beaches including La Concha, an 8-minute walk to the left of the port, and El Puertito, an old fishing village with a sandy beach 7 minutes to the right. Hiking options include ascending La Caldera, a 127-meter volcanic cone, which takes approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes round-trip and offers views of Fuerteventura and Lanzarote. The Martiño lighthouse to the north provides panoramic sea views and views of Lanzarote’s volcanoes. Walking around the entire island takes about 2 hours and 30 minutes. The service includes mandatory traveler’s insurance, all fees and taxes, and return ferry tickets. Food, beverages, and accommodation transfers are not included. There are no shops on the island, and the beach kiosk is not always open, so bringing water and food is advised. Sun protection such as hats, sunglasses, and sunscreen is recommended due to the island’s dry, volcanic terrain with no natural shade. Pets are not allowed on Lobos Island. The ferry service may be canceled due to adverse weather, with options to reschedule or receive a full refund.
