by Roatan Tour Guide Association
This two-hour boat tour in Roatan takes guests to snorkeling spots at Blue Channel, The Aquarium, and Turtle Crossing in the West End area. The tour uses a private paddle boat powered by a guide, so participants do not have to paddle. Snorkeling equipment is provided for the water activities. The boat ride includes air conditioning during transport. Private transportation to and from the departure point is included. Guests should bring their own underwater camera if they want photos, as photography is not provided. Additional charges apply for roundtrip transport beyond Dixon Cove or French Harbor.
West End Snorkel Spots
Participants will visit three snorkeling locations near West End, selected from Blue Channel, Aquarium, Black Rock, and Turtle Crossing based on weather conditions. Fins are not used on the tour to protect the reef, but can be requested in advance. Boat travel between spots is minimal, totaling 10-15 minutes, with each site 2-3 minutes apart. Snorkeling lasts 30-40 minutes at each location.
