This 3-hour walking food tour takes place in Rome’s historic centre, starting at Piazza Navona. The tour includes more than eight food tastings and drinks at multiple locations such as markets, restaurants, and off-the-beaten-path spots. It begins with sampling supplí and pizza bianca near the fountains and baroque architecture of Piazza Navona. The route continues past landmarks including Palazzo Farnese, the Roman Ghetto, Fontana dei Quattro Fiumi, Campo de' Fiori, and Area Sacra di Largo Argentina. Participants taste Italian cold cuts and cheeses, two types of homemade pizza, two Roman pasta dishes, cannoli, and artisanal gelato. A final Secret Dish selected by the operator concludes the tasting. Coffee and wine are included with the food tastings. The tour covers approximately three hours on foot and does not include hotel pickup or drop-off. Gratuities are optional.
