Overview

This three-hour golf cart tour covers Rome’s main landmarks, giving visitors a comfortable way to see the city’s historic center. The tour begins at Via Urbana 40, where participants board a golf cart with seven seats, including two rear-facing. Seating is rotated every hour to ensure no one remains facing backward for the entire ride. Up to two carts operate together with a maximum of 14 guests, all using headsets to hear the English-speaking guide clearly. The route includes a 10-minute stop outside the Colosseum to view and photograph its exterior and learn about its history. The group also drives past St. Peter’s Square in Vatican City, with a possible photo stop if permitted by police. Other highlights along the way are Piazza Venezia, Isola Tiberina with views of the Garibaldi Bridge and Ponte Fabricio, and the archaeological site of Largo Argentina. The tour pauses for 10 minutes in Piazza Navona to see its Baroque fountains and lively square, then continues to Piazza della Minerva for five minutes to view Bernini’s elephant statue. At the Pantheon, there is a 20-minute stop in Piazza della Rotonda to admire the exterior, take photos, and enjoy a gelato provided by the operator. The visit ends with 15-minute stops at the Trevi Fountain, where close-up access requires a ticket from February 2026, and the Spanish Steps, known for the Barcaccia Fountain. The tour concludes back at Via Urbana 40.
