Rome is a city with layers of history visible in its architecture and streets. This full-day walking tour covers Rome’s top landmarks, including the Colosseum, Vatican Museums, and the historic center. The day starts with a guided walk through the historic center, visiting Piazza Navona, the Pantheon, Trevi Fountain, and Piazza Venezia. After about two hours of walking and sightseeing, there is a one-hour lunch break (lunch not included). Following lunch, the tour continues with a guided visit to the Colosseum. Skip-the-line access allows entry without long waits, and the guide explains the history of the amphitheater and life in Ancient Rome during a one-hour tour. Next is a visit to the Roman Forum area, where instead of entering inside, the guide takes the group to an overlook to explain its historical significance.
