Next, the tour heads to Melrose Abbey for a 90-minute visit. This Gothic abbey is partly in ruins and is known as the burial site of Robert the Bruce’s heart. Due to ongoing safety inspections, some parts of the abbey might be closed during your visit. This stop also serves as the lunch break, though food is not provided. After Melrose, the tour goes to the 15th-century Rosslyn Chapel, where you spend around 90 minutes. This chapel is famous for its detailed stone carvings and links to myths about the “Holy Grail” and the Knights Templar, popularized by the novel The Da Vinci Code. From April 1, 2026, admission to Rosslyn Chapel is included in the tour price, with free entry for children accompanied by an adult.
