The Eagle's Nest, or Kehlsteinhaus, is a historic mountaintop chalet located on Mount Kehlstein in Berchtesgaden, Germany. It was built in 1938 as a 50th birthday present for Adolf Hitler and was intended to be a conference center and retreat. The building, perched on a rocky outcrop, offers a breathtaking panoramic view of the surrounding countryside. Despite its association with the Nazi regime, the site remains a popular tourist attraction, managed by the tourist region of Berchtesgaden-Königssee company. Today, it is open to the general public and operates as a restaurant. The Eagle's Nest is a significant historical site, providing insight into the events and decisions that took place there during the Nazi era.and Walk Old Town Berchtesgaden
