Overview

This 2-hour San Diego Harbor speed boat tour allows each participant to captain their own F13 mini speed boat on San Diego Bay. An expert guide follows in a separate boat and provides live narration through a two-way radio system, sharing information about the harbor and landmarks throughout the trip. The route includes driving under the bow of the USS Midway Museum, passing Coronado Naval Base and Coronado Island, and cruising beneath the Coronado Bridge. The tour also approaches the San Diego Bait Barge at Point Loma, where sea lions can be observed nearby. Participants will see the ships at the Maritime Museum of San Diego with commentary on each vessel, views of the San Diego Bay Walk, and pass by Cabrillo National Monument. The oldest active sailing ship is visible during the cruise as well. Safety measures include a Coast Guard-approved life jacket and a safety orientation before departure. No prior boating experience or license is required. The tour does not include hotel pickup or drop-off, and gratuities are not included. Participants should bring weather-appropriate clothing, swimwear in summer, a jacket in cooler months, sun protection, and footwear suitable for water activities.
