Overview

Your tour guide will pick you up at a meeting point (Sapa Church or Chapa Dew Hotel) in Sapa Town at either 8:00-8:30 AM or 14:30-14:45 PM. After that, we're going to visit Cat Cat Village, home to the Black H’mong people, at the foot of Fansipan Mountain. From the Cat Cat village gate, you will walk to explore the beauty of the village and the culture here. Your guide will show you the village and its daily activities before trekking down to a waterfall, where the French built a Hydraulic Power Station. Take photos of the bridge and waterfall before trekking uphill to meet the van for the return trip to the meeting point. The trek covers about 2.5 km and lasts 2 hours.

What to bring Warm clothes, scarf, hat, cap because the weather in Sapa is pretty unpredictable. It is normally cold in September, October, November, December, January, February and March Due to altitude of Sapa, it is sometimes foggy in December, January, February and March. Trekking shoes, sun glasses, sun cream, insect repellent are also necessary. You should take cash with you in Vietnam Dong because banking system in Sapa sometimes doesn’t function well. US Dollar, Euro, Australia Dollar are accepted in Sapa. You should take medicine with you although there are some chemist’s shops in Sapa in case you get sick.
